A small team based in Chennai provides support to field stations and crosslink-ages with other Programme Areas.   It organizes workshops, conferences, exhibitions, undertaken research studies and conducts field level training and capacity building workshops. In addition they also handle the outreach and educational component so the biodiversity programme including publications. An important task of the group is providing assistance in organizing Policy Level Workshops related to Biodiversity.
