One of the major objectives of M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) is to give last mile and last person connectivity through an integrated application of the inter net and community radio and cell phone. Establishment of Village Resource Centre (VRC) and Village Knowledge Centre(VKC) in tribal village provides a wide range of services based on the needs of the communities. Through VKC capacity of the tribal and rural families is built through training on different components of agriculture and non-agriculture activities. A Human Resource Development Centre is established with infrastructural facilities for training of tribal and rural people. DNA Club organizes Summer camps for school children every year to give them opportunities to learn about bioresources of the region , its conservation and sustainable utilization to reduce poverty.
