| Activity | Above-mentioned Vivasaigal Kuzhu of Vellapallam village in Nagapattinam district, Tamilnadu consists of 13 male members with one-woman member had proposed to start household Dairy activity as their income generation. We have been working with these groups for the past 2 years. The group has very good experience in managing the dairy activity as an enterprise; they have decided to buy 14 cows at an approximate cost of Rs. 15,000/. They will bring Rs.94, 500, as their contribution of MSRRF will extend 'interest-free' loan of Rs.210, 000 /-(from your bank Rs.50, 000). The group has attended several training programmes on Dairy management and composting. The group has developed a simple business proposal on their own to show the flow of funds and income that they will able to generate through this dairy enterprise. The group has marketing arrangement with milk Society - Winner Enterprises, Nagapattinam. The milk will be collected from a common place in the village and fortnightly payments are made to group. |
