members of this group have started a small grocery shop
to carter to the needs of the village people. The group
has taken an interest-free loan to start this venture.
This new shop has saved the villagers from the trouble
of walking a long distance to buy grocery. The enterprise
will give the members an additional source of income.
The total project cost is Rs.80,000/-. The Group has contributed
Rs. 30,000/- from their savings.The group is able to repay
the loan installment regularly. |

The group is producing "Trichogramma"
Bio-pesticide, which protects crops from attacks from
pests. It is a very good substitute for chemical fertilizer
and many farmers have started using 'Trichogramma' extensively.
The group has standing orders from EID Parry a Limited
Company, for 2000 cc of Trichogramma every month. This
enterprise gives them continuous income throughout the
year. |
