village is situated in a coastal region. Plenty of cashew
nuts are available in this village. The group has set-up
a cashewnut processing unit. They are buying cashew nuts
and processing it and giving to the nearby shops. This
is a good example of where the people take advantage of
the resources locally available and by adding time and
labour to earn a livelihood and generate income. |
