The SHGs of Kolli Hills are supplying millets to FOOD WORLD for almost a year now the group is involved in coordinating the supply by procuring the millets, transporting cleaning and packing and delivering it to the Market outlet at Chennai. However, they receive payment only after about 45 to 60 days. This group wants to upgrade the standards in production system and marketing. They are in the process of electrifying their unit and plan to get the TIN NO. and TNGST No. for their products. This would help in scaling up the volume of production in relation to the demand.
