The SHGs of Kolli Hills are supplying
millets to FOOD WORLD(chain of supermarket at chennai
city) for almost a year. Nanbargal SHG is coordinating
the supply by procuring the millets, transporting, cleaning
and packing and delivering it to FOOD WORLD at Chennai.
However, they receive payment from FOOD WORLD only after
about 45 to 60 days. They need to pay for the product
and services to the other SHGs who are doing different
type of work as mentioned above. With funds flow being
stuck for 45 days they are not able to effect the next
supply on time to FOOD WORLD. The loan is given to bridge
the working capital gap.The group is able to repay the
loan installment regularly. |

education for children and incoming earning opportunity. |
