The group consists of 17 women members started Grocery trading as an income generation for their livelihood by availing interest free a loan of Rs. 44000 from this bank. The village was very big in its size and the existing grocery shops were not able to meet the local demands. The villagers had to go to next near by markets to buy the grocery. Hence, this group felt the need of grocery shop in the village. The group buys the grocery items in wholesale market and sells it in the village at reasonable rates. This activity helped the community in generating additional income for the poor women. The group is repaying the loan installment regularly.
