The group consists of 20 women members. They have started Grocery trading as a income generating activity for their livelihood by availing interest free loan of Rs. 50000. The village is very big in its size and there aren't enough grocery shops to meet the local demands.This group felt the need of grocery shop in the village. The group buys the grocery items in wholesale market and sells it in the village with reasonable rates. This activity has helped the community in generating additional income.

The Group was taught to make ‘Navadhanayappodi’ meaning a powder of nine grains roasted and mixed in a proportion to prepare a health drink. It is a combination of six cereals and three pulses with Navara Rice as one of the major components. The nutritive health drink named as ‘Nutravita’ is now being marketed by M/s. INFARM an organization that helps to sell products made by villagers. They are selling the product in local market packed in jar(500gms) at the rate of Rs. 45/-and the demand for the product is very encouraging. The group is not able to pay the loan installment regularly as the payment is due by M/s. INFARM for bulk supply effected by the group.
