| Gender Concerns Forum is for discussion
and activities related to common professional concerns
relating to gender. The Forum organises the following
activities for groups of staff from time to time. |

| Gender Task Force was set up in
2002 and has made several recommendations regarding
gender at the organisational level , gender at the organisational
leve including the following. |

- Support Services for women staff
|
- Special problems of women field staff
|
- Creation of a women-friendly environment
|
- Behvioural Norms and Procedures
|

| A senior woman staff member functions
informally as a Counsellor for dealing with sensitive
organisational issues. A formal redressal mechanism
has not been found necessary so far. |
