September 30, 2019: Attention young scientists and students! The Indian Youth Science Congress (IYSC) an important event that brings youth across the country together, has announced its call for papers. This 10th edition of the IYSC will be held from 27-29th December, 2019 at ITM University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
This year the theme is "Science and Technology for a Prosperous and Nutrition-Secure India", that focuses on the Vision of a Malnutrition-Free India, on Skill India, Start Up India, Digital India, Smart Village, and Stand-up India. It will deliberate on technological innovations. Students are encouraged to submit their papers on the following themes:
Nutrition, Health & Food Security; Climate Change; Carbon Sinks; Early Warning Signals; Natural & Genetic Resources Management; Traditional Wisdom; Vision of youth for India; Mathematical Modelling of Physical and Engineering Problems etc in the present context.
The 10th edition is jointly organized by ITM University , Gwalior, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation and SRM University. The event is open to students and researchers in the fields of Genetic Resources & Climate Change, Carbon Sinks, Early Warning Signals, Natural Resource Management and Traditional Wisdom.
Youth constitute a major chunk of the population in our country. So it is important to recognize and facilitate their lateral learning. In this context that Prof M S Swaminathan took the lead in setting up the IYSC for exchange of ideas. This annual event has completed nine editions in different parts of the country with several hundred students participating in each edition. In 2018, the 9th edition of the IYSC was held in Career Point University, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
Young students and researchers are invited to submit their solutions using science and technology for this conference by November 15, 2019 to email@example.com.
