The TATA TCS Biodiversity Park (Hub and Spoke) project focuses on conserving Rare, Endangered, and Threatened (RET) species and promoting Neglected and Underutilized Species (NUS) to enhance biodiversity and food security. Project adopts a Hub-and-Spokes model and activities will be implemented across four districts in North Kerala (Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur). The project integrates in-situ and ex-situ conservation, community participation, and capacity building for tribal youth and stakeholders. Expected outcomes include restoration of 250 acres, recovery of 100 RET species, and improved livelihoods for 1,000 tribal families through NUS-based value chains.
Role Summary:
Implement field-level activities across stakeholder landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site level activities in 4 districts and decentralized nurseries in 12 locations
- Networking with stakeholders, institutions and authorities
- Mobilize and engage tribal communities, women groups, and farmer groups
- Ground level implementation of planting and maintenance of RET & NUS species
- Facilitate training, consultations, and co-management systems
- Monitor field progress and submit regular reports.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Investigator/ Coordinator from time to time

Qualification:
MSc / BSc in Botany / Forestry / Agriculture
Experience:
Experience in community-based conservation preferred
Age Limit: 25- 35 Yrs Period Two Years
