7th Indian Youth Science Congress to be held in Feb 2016 in Odisha
M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation in collaboration with the KIIT University, SRM University and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development has rescheduled the 7th Indian Youth Science Congress for 26 – 28 February, 2016 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The aim of this Science Congress is to provide young scientists a forum for discussion on science and technology for a prosperous India. The young students will have an opportunity to interact with a galaxy of eminent scientists and policy experts in the field of Science and Technology. Number of eminent scientists will be addressing the issues on UN Sustainable Development Goals as the theme of this year Science Congress.
The 7th Youth Science Congress was initially scheduled for December, but postponed in light of the unprecedented rains in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu.
M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) established in 1988 is a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M S Swaminathan, agriculture scientist with proceeds from the First World Food Prize that he received in 1987.
