Dear Chief Minister Vijayan,
Our sympathies for the extensive damage to life and property, caused by the recent fury of rain and floods. I congratulate you and your colleagues on the very effective way in which the human suffering has been minimised. I have dealt with methods of anticipatory action to face the fury of climate change in the Kuttanad and Idukki reports. It may be worthwhile to look at them. Once again I wish you and the government success in minimising losses and accelerating the return to normal life.
With warm regards,
Yours sincerely,
M S Swaminathan
