Mr Shafeeq Thamarassery

Shafeeq Thamarassery is a Kochi-based journalist who primarily writes on topics related to land rights, human rights, minorities rights, also the environment. Before taking on his current role as Senior News Editor at Reporter TV’s digital division, he served as a Special Correspondent for DoolNews, and Principal Correspondent for Truecopy Think. Shafeeq is the 2020 Laadli Media Fellowship grantee, and the Prajanya Trust – Chennai, awardee for the Rajaram Media Fellowship in 2021.
