Translating Research Opportunities to enhance Pollination benefits to economically Important Crops And improve Livelihoods – TROPICAL is a translational research project under GCRF, UK led by the University of Reading, UK. The main goal of the project is to enhance productivity and yield stability of two economical important crops by improving pollination service provision in smallholder farms in Tamil Nadu, India. Moringa and Mango are the crops selected for the ecological intensification study. The project site is Kannivadi in Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu.
M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) established in 1988 is a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M S Swaminathan, agriculture scientist with proceeds from the First World Food Prize that he received in 1987.
