9th Indian Youth Science Congress– Call for submissions of papers
Chennai, November 22, 2017: The 9th Indian Youth Science Congress (IYSC), to be held between April 7-9, 2018 at Career Point University, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, has announced its call for papers. The conference is being jointly organized by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, SRM University Chennai, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development Chennai, Career Point University Hamirpur (HP) and Kota (Rajasthan). The theme for this year’s conference is “Role of young scientists in developing new India”, with focus on Vision of New India viz Skill India, Clean India, Start Up India, Digital India, Smart cities, and Stand-up India. This annual event has completed eight editions in different parts of the country with several hundred students participating in each edition. In 2017, the 8th IYSC was held in University of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) established in 1988 is a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M S Swaminathan, agriculture scientist with proceeds from the First World Food Prize that he received in 1987.
