The Mitsubishi India CMD, Mr. Eisuke Shiozaki, is delivering a Millennium Lecture at MSSRF on December 6, 2017 at 11 am. He will be speaking on the subject, “Mitsubishi Corporation’s Initiative to Ensure Sustainable Growth”. Mitsubishi’s Corporation has been changing its business models and its function according to the change of society’s demand and needs. MC’s basic policy on sustainability is to have business activities that are invested in solving societal problems that lead to sustainable corporate growth.
This lecture is part of the Millennium Lecture series that feature eminent personalities from across the globe at MSSRF. Speakers focus on specific global goals and efforts to address them. Earlier speakers have included Columbia University’s Prof Jeffrey Sachs, Mauritius President Dr Gurib-Fakim, IRRI Director General Dr Matthew Morell, Dr Kanayo Nwanze President IFAD and other individuals of international repute who have made significant contribution to development across the world. The lectures provide an opportunity for people in Chennai to listen first hand to sharing of knowledge from these speakers.
M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) established in 1988 is a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M S Swaminathan, agriculture scientist with proceeds from the First World Food Prize that he received in 1987.
