MSSRF designer wins contest for official logo of Government of India scheme
A national-level contest to design the logo of one of India’s major rural development schemes, has been won by MSSRF’s designer K Dileep. The announcement came from the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India for the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) that aims for integrated development of villages with high percentage of marginalized communities. Mr Dileep won the national-level logo competition and his design has been selected to be the official logo of this scheme. A creative designer based at Wayanad, Kerala regional centre of MSSRF, Dileep is also the award winning designer for the logos of the Tamilnadu Biodiversity Board and Commissioner Textiles, Govt. of Maharashtra.

M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) established in 1988 is a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M S Swaminathan, agriculture scientist with proceeds from the First World Food Prize that he received in 1987.
